Modular Weather Stations
The 110-WS-25 Modular Weather Station is a user-friendly meteorological system designed for storing and monitoring weather conditions in real time. The standard sensor package includes six weather parameters: wind speed and direction, temperature and relative humidity, barometric pressure, and precipitation. Spare input channels allow for the addition of optional sensors. Real-time readings can be viewed on the LCD display. Front panel buttons control menu functions and programming.
The 110-WS-25 Modular Weather Station is a user-friendly meteorological system designed for storing and monitoring weather conditions in real time. The standard sensor package includes six weather parameters: wind speed and direction, temperature and relative humidity, barometric pressure, and precipitation. Spare input channels allow for the addition of optional sensors. No computer is required for setup or viewing data. The simple menu interface uses the LCD display and three front-panel buttons to make setup easy.
Data is recorded directly onto a Secure Digital (SD™) card, which provides convenient storage and download of data for many months. The data logger is compatible with standard SD cards of up to 2 GB. With logging at one-minute intervals, a 2 GB card can store over five years of data. A new file is created and saved to the card each day. Using the recorded data is simple. Insert the SD card into a card reader attached to the USB port on your computer (Windows, Macintosh, or Linux), and it will show up as a drive. To view and graph the data, click on the corresponding file for the desired date. You can use Microsoft Excel, OpenOffice.org, or any other spreadsheet program to view, graph, and analyze your data.
The RS232 serial port can be connected to a computer via cable for real-time data display. For longer distances, add a pair of Spread Spectrum radios. The optional device server simplifies connection to a hosted website.
