The 110-WS-25SR-A Silicon Cell Pyranometer is ideal for applications that don't require the accuracy or expense of a thermopile pyranometer. It is less expensive and has a faster response time, but it has higher errors under cloudy conditions. The pyranometer is sensitive to shortwave radiation in the 360–1120 nm range and is calibrated to estimate total shortwave radiation across the entire solar spectrum.
The output is an amplified and calibrated 0-5 volt signal representing 0-2000 W/m². The sensor requires power to operate (5.5 to 24 V DC at 300 µA).
Features
- Dome shaped sensor head (diffuser and body) facilitates runoff of dew and rain to keep the diffuser clean
