Marine Wind Tracker
The 200-06201 Wind Tracker Display is a compact wind speed and wind direction indicator. Wind speed is displayed in your choice of units: knots, miles per hour, kilometers per hour, or meters per second. The maximum wind speed is saved on the display until it is reset by the operator. Wind direction information is clearly displayed on a circular pattern of LEDs in the shape of a compass. The 200-06206 Marine Wind Tracker displays the wind angle relative to the vessel’s heading.
These compact wind speed and direction displays have many features that allow them to be used in a variety of applications.
Wind Speed:
- Displayed in your choice of units: knots, mph, km/h, and m/s
- Maximum wind speed is saved on the display until reset by the operator
- The wind speed alarm can be set to control an output relay
Wind Direction:
- Direction information is clearly displayed on a circular compass pattern of LEDs
- Multicolored segments give a quick visual indication of current direction and direction variability
- Real-time or averaged data can be displayed
- A wind direction alarm can be set to control an output relay
- Model 200-06201 displays direction on a NSEW front panel
- Model 200-06026 displays direction relative to vessel heading
Other Features:
- Front panel brightness control allows adjustment for best viewing in any light
- 12-30 Vdc power enables the Wind Tracker to be powered by external batteries
- AC wall adapter included (100-240 V / 50-60 Hz)
- Inputs: RS485, 4-20 mA
- Outputs: RS485, 0-5 Vdc (outputs are used to connect additional displays, monitoring devices)
- Compact design can be rack mounted or bulkhead mounted (optional rack mounting panel, weather resistant enclosure available)
- Face size is 144 mm x 144 mm to fit standard DIN panel configurations
- Depth is 36 mm for easy mounting on vertical bulkheads or wall surface
