2-Axis Ultrasonic Anemometers
WindSonic 60 ultrasonic anemometers are compact, rugged and maintenance free. The high-strength, UV protected polycarbonate construction withstands harsh environments. Available in white or black.
WindSonic 60 ultrasonic anemometers provide high quality measurements up to 60 m/s (134 mph). There are no moving parts, offering maintenance-free operation in a wide range of applications. The rugged UV-protected sensor is available in white or black polycarbonate.
WindSonic 60 sensors provide speed and direction measurements in a variety of output options:
- Option 1: RS232
- Option 2: RS232, RS422, RS485 (2-wire), NMEA 0183
- Option 3: RS232, RS422, RS485 (2-wire), NMEA 0183, Analog (voltage or current)
- Option 4: SDI-12
- Option 5: Modbus RTU, RS-485 (2-wire)
Options 1 thru 3 are programmable via the RS232 connection. Request programming service at the time of order, or re-configure the sensor on your own via a terminal program any time the default settings need to be adjusted.
The Option 5 sensors are delivered with factory default settings. WindSet software, which is available as a free download, is required to configure the Modbus settings, such as the address.
Each sensor includes a connector kit that must be assembled to a cable in order to connect to the sensor. Cable is not included. NovaLynx offers cable assembly as a service.
