The WindMaster 3D ultrasonic anemometer will monitor wind speeds of 0-50 m/s (0-180 km/h), providing digital outputs for U, V, and W vectors. Outputs for Speed of Sound and Sonic Temperature are available as standard. The internal sample rate is either a 20 Hz or 32 Hz, depending on model selected. Optional analog inputs and outputs are available with either 12 or 14 bit resolution.
WindMaster is constructed from lightweight aluminum and carbon fiber. The right-angled version is designed for precise placement in specific installations. This 3D ultrasonic anemometer is ideally suited to the measurement of air turbulence around bridges, buildings, wind turbine sites, building ventilation control systems, meteorological and flux measurement sites. For applications where wind speeds in excess of 50 m/s are experienced the WindMaster Pro is recommended.
