The 210-4110-A Hi-Q Thermograph is a precision, self-contained instrument that measures and records ambient temperature indoors or out. An aged bimetal strip expands and contracts with changing temperature. This movement is transferred to the pen through a counter balanced mechanical linkage. A span of 60°C or 110°F can be measured, and the span can be easily adjusted for different seasons.
The instrument is constructed of corrosion-resistant materials. The base is cast aluminum, and all internal parts are stainless steel or chrome-plated brass. Air moves freely around the sensor through large slots in the case. Replaceable cartridge pens eliminate frequent and messy pen filling. The battery-operated clock has recording periods of 1 day, 7 days, or 31 days, switch-selectable. Actual rotations on the daily and weekly periods are 26 hours and 176 hours to prevent overwriting of the chart clip.
When the thermograph is used outdoors, it must be protected from direct solar radiation by installing it in an instrument shelter.
This instrument has been discontinued by the manufacturer. Some charts and pens are still available. Please contact us for information regarding repairs and replacement parts.
