	03002 Wind Sentry The Wind Sentry Anemometer and Vane are professional quality wind sensors which are suitable for a wide range of wind measurement applications. These moderately priced sensors are principally of thermoplastic construction providing excellent corrosion resistance, low sensor weight, and minimal parts count. In addition to being available as a set complete with crossarm, the sensors are also available separately with mounting brackets. The anemometer has three hemispherical molded plastic cups. Cup wheel rotation produces an AC sine wave voltage signal with frequency directly proportional to wind speed. This AC voltage signal is induced in a coil by a two pole circular magnet mounted on the cup wheel shaft. One complete sine wave cycle is produced for each cup wheel revolution. Wind vane position is transmitted by a 10k ohm precision conductive plastic potentiometer which requires a regulated excitation voltage. With a constant voltage applied to the potentiometer, the output signal is an analog voltage directly proportional to azimuth angle. The plastic vane is molded directly on the anodized aluminum vane shaft.
	05103 Wind Monitor The Wind Monitor is a high performance wind sensor. Rugged, corrosion-resistant construction makes it ideal for a wide range of wind measuring applications. The wind speed sensor is a four blade helicoid propeller. Propeller rotation produces an AC sine wave voltage signal. The wind direction sensor is a rugged yet lightweight vane. Vane angle is sensed by a precision potentiometer. Constructed of UV stabilized plastic with stainless steel and anodized aluminum fittings, the sensor mounts on standard 1 inch pipe. Model 05103V offers calibrated 0-5 Vdc outputs, Model 05103L provides a calibrated 4-20 mA current signal for each channel.
	05103-45 Alpine Wind Monitor The Alpine Wind Monitor offers the performance and rugged construction of the standard Wind Monitor with the added benefit of an ice-resistant coating on external surfaces. It promises improved survivability for the most severe wind measuring applications. The wind direction sensor is a rugged molded vane. The wind speed sensor is a four blade helicoid propeller. Propeller diameter is slightly reduced from the standard model to minimize vibration at high speeds. External housing surfaces are coated with a specially formulated, Ice-resistant coating to improve performance in harsh alpine conditions. The all-black color scheme further enhances ice-shedding performance of the sensor. The instrument is made of UV stabilized plastic with stainless steel and anodized aluminum fittings. The instrument mounts on standard 1 inch pipe. Model 05103V-45 offers calibrated voltage outputs, Model 05103L-45 provides 4-20 mA current outputs.
	05106 Marine Wind Monitor The Wind Monitor-MA is an accurate and reliable wind sensor specifically designed for the rigors of the marine environment. The wind speed sensor is a four blade helicoid propeller. Unique transducer produces a pulse signal without electrical contacts or slip rings. The wind direction sensor is a durable molded vane. Vane angle is sensed by a precision potentiometer housed in a sealed chamber. All materials are carefully selected for corrosion resistance and maximum durability in the harsh marine environment. Stainless steel bearings are used throughout. Special waterproof lubricant further enhances reliability. The instrument mounts on standard 1 inch pipe. Separate signal conditioning circuits are available to provide voltage or current signals when needed. Each is supplied in a weatherproof junction box with mounting hardware.

It promises improved survivability for the most severe wind measuring applications. The reliability of the Wind Monitor sensor is well known. The sensitive vane and propeller combination has proven effective for countless applications in many disciplines. The Wind Monitor-HD (Heavy Duty) model is designed to address the most common concern of mechanical wind sensors: bearing replacement. The HD utilizes extremely long-wearing, oversize ceramic bearings to increase service life many times longer than standard stainless steel bearings. In addition to being more wear-resistant, ceramic is resistant to corrosion in environments that are hostile to steel bearings. The Wind Monitor-HD also has oversized propeller shaft, high pitch propeller and stainless steel locking propeller nut, all features that will enchance long-term reliability of the sensor.
	05108-45 Alpine HD Wind Monitor The Wind Monitor-HD-Alpine combines the features of the Heavy Duty unit along with the ice-resistant coating of the popular Alpine Wind Monitor. Robust, reliable, durable... all words to describe the latest addition to the Wind Monitor line. The HD-Alpine utilizes extremely long-wearing, oversize ceramic bearings to increase service life many times longer than standard stainless steel bearings. In addition to being more wear resistant, ceramic is resistant to corrosion in environments that are hostile to steel bearings. The Wind Monitor-HD-Alpine also has an oversized propeller shaft, high pitch propeller and locking propeller nut, all features that will further enhance long-term reliability of the sensor. All external housing surfaces are coated with a specially formulated, ice-resistant coating to improve performance in harsh Alpine conditions. 	05305 Air Quality Wind Monitor The Wind Monitor-AQ is a high resolution wind sensor for air quality applications. It combines low threshold, fast response and excellent fidelity to meet important regulatory standards. Wind speed is sensed by a lightweight, carbon fiber thermoplastic (CFT), helicoid propeller. The wind direction sensor is a lightweight, balanced vane. The instrument body is UV stabilized plastic with stainless steel and anodized aluminum fittings. The instrument mounts on standard 1 inch pipe. The Wind Monitor-AQ is available with two additional output signal options: Model 05305V offers calibrated voltage outputs. Model 05305L provides 4-20 mA current signals.
	81000 Ultrasonic Anemometer The Young 81000 Ultrasonic Anemometer is a 3-axis, no-moving-parts wind sensor. It is ideal for applications requiring fast response, high resolution and three-dimensional wind measurement. The sensor features durable corrosion-resistant construction with 3 opposing pairs of ultrasonic transducers supported by stainless steel members. Each 81000 is individually wind-tunnel calibrated. Wind and sonic temperature data is avilable on four voltage output channels. Serial RS-232 and RS-485 outputs are available as well. The sensor installs on standard 1 inch pipe.

	46203 Temp Tracker Display The Temp Tracker is a versatile temperature and relative humidity indicator with useful alarms and serial output. Measured values are displayed on the front panel: temperature on the left, relative humidity or dewpoint on the right. Maximum and minimum values are saved and can be viewed at any time. The Temp Tracker includes the following useful features: fully-programmable alarms, calibrated voltage outputs, and RS-485 output.
	26800 Meteorological Translator The 26800 Meteorological Translator offers a unique and flexible solution for meteorological data measurement, recording and display. 	41342 Temperature Probe and 41382 Temperature & Humidity Probe The 41382 Relative Humidity/Temperature Probe combines a high accuracy, capacitance type humidity sensor and precision Platinum RTD temperature sensor in one probe. This probe offers a choice of 0-1 VDC or 4-20 mA outputs for T and RH. The 41342 Temperature Probe offers accurate temperature-only measurement. Three output options are available: 0-1 VDC, 4-20 mA, and 4 wire RTD. Probes are easily installed in YOUNG naturally ventilated (multi-plate) and aspirated radiation shields. A junction box is provided for cable terminations.
	91000 ResponseONE The 91000 ResponseONE™ Ultrasonic Anemometer is designed to reliably measure wind speed and direction. The ResponseONE™ is wind tunnel calibrated and will accurately measure wind speeds up to 70 m/s (156 mph). The high sampling rate of the 91000 provides for fast response to changing wind conditions and wind data may be updated as fast as 10 times per second. An easy-to-use Windows setup program is provided with each sensor. The program allows the user to customize device settings such as sampling rates and communication parameters.
	92000 ResponseONE The ResponseONE™ Weather Transmitter measures four key meteorological variables with one compact instrument. It is ideal for many weather monitoring applications requiring accurate and reliable measurements. Ultrasonic wind speed and direction, atmospheric pressure, humidity and temperature sensors are carefully integrated into an enclosure optimized for durability, airflow and mitigation of solar radiation effects. An integrated compass helps enable mobile applications. A variety of useful serial output formats are provided including SDI-12, NMEA, and ASCII text.
